How Limetra handles local browser records, manual LinkedIn metric captures, notes, and backups.

Effective date: July 1, 2026

What Limetra does

Limetra is a local-first Chrome extension for keeping a private metric journal in your browser. The first supported metric source is LinkedIn SSI.

The extension reads the visible supported LinkedIn SSI page only when you press capture SSI. It does not run background scraping, does not automate LinkedIn, and does not make LinkedIn requests for you.

Limetra is not affiliated with LinkedIn.

Data handled by Limetra

Limetra stores metric captures, capture timestamps, timeline notes you write, note colors, note time ranges, and local backup or restore data you choose to use.

Limetra does not ask for your name, email address, login credentials, payment information, location, personal communications, or browsing history.

Storage and control

Records are stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage. Limetra does not have a backend account, cloud sync, analytics pipeline, advertising system, or remote database for your records.

Backups are local JSON files that you create, keep, move, or restore yourself.

Local records stay in Chrome extension storage until you delete captures or notes, restore a backup that replaces them, or uninstall the extension.

Because Limetra does not transmit your records to a Limetra server, it cannot recover them for you. Keep backup files only in places you trust.

How records are used

Limetra does not sell your records or share them with third parties.

The extension uses your records only to show your local timeline, charts, notes, filters, backup, and restore features.

Limetra does not use your records for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated purposes.

Voluntary support

If you choose to support Limetra development through a support link on the website, payment is handled by the external support provider you choose to use.

Limetra does not process, receive, or store payment card details. Support is optional and does not unlock extension features or change how Limetra handles your records.

Policy updates

Limetra may update this policy when the product changes. The effective date shows the latest version.

If a future version changes how Limetra handles data, the extension will show that change before using the new practice.
